Welcome to Grizbeat, the blog dedicated to summer photo and print interns from the University of Montana School of Journalism.

This summer's interns are ranging the globe, working for news and communications organizations from Nepal to Ecuador, from Tacoma, Wash., to Austin, Texas, and Washington, D.C. More than a few chose to stay in Montana, and who can blame you for spending another summer under the Big Sky?

Over the course of the season, I'll be posting items about you and your work, reminding you of deadlines, and pointing you to resources that may help you on the job. Consider this a meeting place, and check in often.
